To aspire…

Today has been eye opening. I’m realising just how lazy I am. I have to still edit a studio film for my friends band. For about two years I have had a film all but scripted in some pipeline. And now I have inspiration for a web show. So I promise that soon my posts will revolve around what I am doing to become what I want to be.

Decisions

OK…Sony Vegas pro 9.0 (although pro is there) seems a little simplistic. But I can and probably will use it for more straight forward and basic films. Switching to Premiere Pro CS5 for fancier stuff. Because im way way way to poor for a Mac with Final Cut Pro.

This film editing stuff (along with band, football manager, girlfriend and worrying over money) has become a welcome second nature.

Video Editing Software

  • I would like to know if anyone has a preference on the software they use...I started using Final Cut Pro in college but I can't afford a mac. So I current use Premiere Pro CS5 and would like to know also if Sony Vegas Pro 9 is any good?

RE: Editing….(blah blah blah)

I have decided to create a series of trailers for the movie…

Here is number one.

Editing…and making a movie.

My good pals “Distance Within” have sent me all they’re studio footage to edit…I hope to be able to convey the energy and talent that these guys have in the movie…Two (ish) hours of footage. Some interesting stuff there.

Here is the link for the band…

Will keep you posted on the progress and the final film.
